Resistance bands are used these days in both gyms and home gyms. These resistance bands allow you to train your thighs more intensively, in particular. The principle behind this practical waistband is quickly explained. Once put on, the resistance band can help you further train your thigh muscles—for example, with squats and jumps. The tension keeps your legs in a more controlled position, increasing the training effect.
To help you work at the intensity that best suits your fitness level, hip belts are available in different intensities (from L for "light" to M for "medium" to S for "heavy"). The more intense the hip belt, the more resistance!
Especially if you're just starting with leg training, it usually makes sense to start with size L or, at most, size M. Advanced athletes should find the right challenge in the S variation.
