Olympic Bars

Besides the straight Olympic bars, other variations are available to the user. It's no longer just about holding a certain weight against gravity. User comfort plays a particularly important role in this regard. To enhance this (and, of course, to improve the training effect), Olympic bars are now offered in a wide variety of designs.

EZ bars belong to the group of Olympic bars that are relatively common in traditional gyms, but can also be found in home gyms. They are recognizable at first glance by their curved shape.

Thanks to the characteristic shape of this type of Olympic bar, your wrists don't need to be rotated. Quite the opposite: the EZ bar adapts to your natural hand position during a bicep curl, allowing you to focus on a clean execution.

It's also important to know when to use the EZ-version Olympic bars. For example, if you want to do a classic bench press to strengthen your chest muscles, the straight bar is still your "partner."
