BESCHRIJVING

The ultimate "beach muscle group," the biceps , is easily isolated with the EZ curl bar. Because both arms are trained simultaneously, you can lift slightly more weight than when training with free dumbbells, without immediately straining and swinging like an amateur.

The EZ curl bar is also the perfect tool for functional strength training . Boxers use the bar to train their forearms and wrists, performing reverse bicep curls: bicep curls performed with the palms facing down.

Free weights vs machines

The main reason many professional athletes choose to train with free weights, such as dumbbells, is the endless variety and the fact that the body isn't "assisted" by a machine, which restricts its range of motion. Moreover, when training on machines, muscle attachments lag behind in development.
