Not everyone has the option of a home gym, but there are sports accessories you can always use regardless of how much space you have.
The skipping rope
You might have seen this one coming. Jump rope is back. The stigma that you can only jump rope in the schoolyard is long gone. Did you know that martial artists use jump rope as a warm-up? Not only is it suitable for a warm-up, but it also serves as a complete workout. These days, there are plenty of videos available about jump rope workouts. The advantage of jumping rope is that you burn a lot of calories in a relatively short time. Want to start a jump rope workout but don't have one yet? Check out our current selection.
A yoga mat
You can use a yoga mat for many things, not just yoga. While yoga is good for you, you can also use the mat for fitness exercises. Exercises like planks and sit-ups are suitable for this. If you perform exercises lying down or on your knees, you can always use a yoga mat. This way, you can always perform your exercises comfortably.
Push-up supports
Want to challenge yourself? Then use push-up bars . If you want to build functional strength, you really need to train with push-up bars. Although many consider them old-school, they're excellent training tools. You can use them while doing push-ups, for example. Because you're using push-up bars, you'll go deeper than you would if you were doing push-ups without them. The deeper you go, the more you'll develop your pecs. Besides training your pecs, you'll also train your abs and back muscles.
If you do regular push-ups, they'll become easier over time. You'll improve, but there's no real challenge anymore. Add some variety to your workout and challenge yourself by using push-up bars.
The advantage of push-up supports is that they put less strain on your wrists. They're easy to use and you can take them with you anywhere. Looking for push-up supports? Look no further! Check out our current selection.
Don't forget your cool down
While many people warm up, it's also important to cool down. The goal is to lower your heart rate and relax your muscles. Exercises like stretching and lying down are enough for a cool down. Did you know that taking a cold bath is also considered a cool down?
So if you've used the accessories for a good workout, don't forget to cool down!
