Sinterklaas workout ideas

Sinterklaas has arrived in the country, and his birthday is almost here. That means another evening filled with chocolate letters, gingerbread nuts, candy, marshmallows, and more. That's why this article offers inspiration for a Sinterklaas workout. You can do all these exercises with your friends or family on Sinterklaas evening.

THROWING PACKAGES

All those presents need to be delivered in time for Christmas Eve. We're going to practice this with a medicine ball . Stand in a circle and toss the medicine ball to each other. If you really want to make it exciting and challenging, don't just toss it to the person on your right. Toss the ball to a random person in the group. This keeps everyone alert and makes the exercise even more challenging! This exercise mainly works the upper body. You'll start to feel the muscles in your arms, shoulders, and back!

ON SANTA'S LAP

Each time, someone else plays Sinterklaas. Sinterklaas sits against the wall, and each person takes turns sitting on his lap. Together, decide how long each person will sit on his lap, and see which Sinterklaas can hold the most "children" on his lap. How quickly will you give up? This exercise primarily trains your leg muscles.

SINTERKLAAS' BAG IN

We all remember this one: sack races! And of course, in Sinterklaas's sack. Draw a finish line and see who gets there first. It might be a good idea to practice this at home by doing squat jumps from one side of the living room to the other. This exercise also trains your leg muscles and improves your fitness. If you're a fanatic, this will definitely become a full-body workout!

SNACKING MARSHES

Remember the cookie-biting game? This is the same idea, but with Sinterklaas marshmallows! Make sure they're hanging just high enough so you have to lift your heels off the ground to get a bite. Of course, someone pulls the line up a little each time so you just can't reach them. This way, you'll work your calf muscles!
