Valentine's Day: Workout inspiration for a couple's workout

Chocolate bonbons are a thing of the past, unless they're made from 100% raw cacao with a touch of matcha powder for that extra healthy boost. In short, we're all about working on our health, so here's some special workout inspiration for Valentine's Day.

In this article, you'll find various workouts you can do together with your partner on Valentine's Day. Preferably at home, though, because not everyone wants to be at the gym for a hot drink and a bite. Luckily, you can do it at home too with the equipment from Gorilla Sports. And of course, after your workout, you can reward each other with a box of chocolates, and maybe some whipped cream...

The couple squat

A sultry look is worth a thousand words. Stand facing each other in a straight position, with your legs hip-width apart. Place your hands in your lover's and look each other straight in the eye. Then both of you bend your hips and hold each other tightly. Hold the squat for 10 seconds, then slowly rise. After repeating this exercise 15 times, you'll feel the burn in your legs. Keep your gaze locked for that extra bit of motivation to keep going.

The shelf full of compliments

Planking is never fun, but with your partner, it's a little more fun. While you both hold the plank, take turns complimenting each other. Do you give each other more compliments than plank endurance, or vice versa?

Did you know that more endorphins (the chemical that makes you feel good while exercising) are released when you work out together? Endorphins are what give you the same buzz you get when you're in love while exercising together.

Pull-up kiss

The title says it all: you pull yourself up using the Gorilla Sports pull-up bar, and after each repetition, your partner gives you a kiss as a reward. They stand in front of you, providing extra encouragement or distraction. It all depends on how you look at it.

Intertwined sit-ups

Lie on a mat and intertwine your legs with your partner's. This way, you can give each other a little help with sit-ups. Want to make it even more romantic? Give each other a kiss after each sit-up. Especially nice once you're all sweaty.
