Training for 'satisfaction'

But everyone who enjoys training at home with Gorilla Sports products doesn't always have a spot buddy at their disposal. Is this the case for you too? Then train for satisfaction. This means listening to your body. Be aware of what you feel when you train and make conscious choices based on that. When you train for satisfaction, you train with just the right amount of force. You train so that you feel a "stimulus" in the muscle you're working within a certain rep range. Training for satisfaction is therefore a safe way to train effectively without a spot buddy.
Do you also want to get the most out of your training when you train alone? Then follow the steps below and apply training for satisfaction to your training as well.
1. Do your exercises in 3 to 4 sets of 8 to 12 repetitions;
2. Try to choose the weight for your exercises so that it is so heavy that (as far as you can estimate) you just can't finish the last set;
3. Perform your exercises at a leisurely pace, so that you consciously feel what is happening in your muscles;
4. If you don't feel 'satisfied' after the 12th repetition of the last set, keep going until you do;
5. Can you easily do 18 reps on the last set? Then it's time to use a heavier weight.
If you continue training consistently this way, you'll naturally progress and gain more muscle mass. However, make sure you have enough weight plates to keep increasing the weight.
Good luck and train them!
