Here's how to exercise in a small space

Want to start fitness and strength training but don't feel like going to the gym? Build your own home gym! Limited space? No problem! We're happy to help you make the most of a small space. This way, anyone can get started with home fitness. Two square meters is enough, and it doesn't even have to be a separate room!

Sports floor

The first thing you need for a comfortable home gym is rubber floor mats . This protects your floor while allowing you to make optimal use of your strength equipment. It also helps to purchase good shock-absorbing athletic shoes, as you don't want your neighbors to be able to hear your workout.

Fitness and strength equipment suitable for a small space

Okay, the floor is laid! Now, of course, we need some fitness equipment. If you want to install a weight bench or fitness bench, keep in mind that you'll need space on both sides. You want to train with the correct posture and not be limited by a wall, for example. Pro tip: choose a bench with wheels so you can store it safely and space-savingly after use.

Weights

A set of barbells and weights is essential for any avid home workout enthusiast. Buy free weights so you can always make your workouts a little harder when you're ready. Be sure to invest in a good storage rack for this, because in a small space, you don't want to trip over the weights. Pro tip: a tall weight stand is a space-saver!

Training with your own body weight

What really saves space is training with your own body weight. A pull-up bar mounted to the ceiling or a (concrete!) wall is ideal for use between four walls. The only thing you need to consider is creating enough space while you're training. When you're not using the pull-up bar, simply leave it hanging so it won't get in anyone's way. Pro tip: prefer to store the bar? We offer a screw-free pull-up bar that you can simply pull out of the closet when you're ready to train.

As you can see, there are plenty of options for strength training in a small space. Even if you don't have a dedicated space, there are plenty of options. Always wanted to start strength training but don't have a large space at your disposal? Don't let that limit you and go for it!
