Sleep well, even on very hot days

Care to have tea?
It might sound strange, but try to adjust to the heat by drinking tea, especially on hot days (because coffee isn't exactly conducive to sleep). If you drink a lot of tea, you'll temporarily raise your body temperature and adjust to the heat around you. Just try to choose chamomile tea or another caffeine-free tea. And don't drink too much tea, or you'll have to visit the bathroom so often in the middle of the night...
Windows closed
Lockdown time for your apartment! It's wise to keep the windows and doors closed during the day. In the evening, you can then open them again to let the air flow through. It sounds counterintuitive, but this way you'll actually keep most of the heat out. And don't forget to keep your curtains closed!
Under the cold tap
A cold shower might help for a while, but not for long. Here too, it's better to stay at the ambient temperature. But if you really can't handle it, you can hold your wrists under cold water for a while. By cooling your wrists, the rest of your body cools down as well. This is because blood (which is quite logical, actually) flows throughout your entire body.
Phone off, wet socks on
Electricity generates extra heat that you absolutely don't need these days. So turn it off as much as possible! It's also better for your sleep if you just read a book before bed. Two birds with one stone!
Wet socks
The obvious choice is, of course, a wet cloth on your head, a wet tea towel on your stomach, or a hot water bottle from the freezer on your pillow… But who would have ever thought that wet socks would be ideal for sleeping in the heat? Sleep tight!
